Site Survey
Site Survey and Initial consultation - define the brief.

Concept & Design
Sketch planning, mood boards and collation of ideas to form the basis for conecpt design

Planning
Pre-planning applications / permitted development / or full planning dependent on scale, scope and location of project, initial liaison with Structural Engineer for feasibility - CAD drawings issued as PDFs to Local Authority for approval. Usually 8-13 weeks approval time can take longer.

Building Regulations & Costings
Once planing has been obtained moving on to building regulations. Submission by main contractor to nominated building inspector. Liason with The builder in regards to construction and costs can be used for tender purposes.

Construction
Liaison with building Inspector critical at key stages of build to obtain the necessary compliance certification.

Co-working space This time next year Leyton London
Studio Pont delivered a contemporary co-working space from initial concept sketches, planning proposals, and mood boards through to full project delivery. The four-level workspace features breakout zones, private consultation rooms, hot-desking areas, informal meeting spaces, and a spacious café breakout. The design creates a dynamic, inclusive, people-scaled environment that feels calm, flexible, and welcoming ideal for modern collaborative working.
Rio Tinto HQ Anne St. Brisbane
The concept design for Rio Tinto in Brisbane, Ann Street, Australia. Spanning multiple floors, the design drew on a strata concept reflecting mining themes, featuring a flexible, modular reception and sign-in area leading to various seating and private consultation zones. The use of honest, natural materials like timber and exposed concrete, clear sightlines, and planted areas with integrated seating enhances orientation, synergy, and flow. Breakout and “bump” zones create a fluid, dynamic environment that balances functionality, collaboration, and a human-centered, visually engaging workspace.
Fenwicks Food Court Newcastle
The Fenwick’s Food Hall, a landmark retail and food hall that blends history with modern functionality. Drawing on the heritage of the first Fenwick store, the design features a material envelope, bespoke counters, coffered ceilings, and tiled column details. Each zone including retail areas and the food court was carefully designed with continuous signage and unique counters, creating a seamless crossover retail experience. The project balances tenant and landlord needs, establishing a dynamic retail/ food theatre that has become a benchmark for Newcastle, engaging residents and visitors alike while standing the test of time.
Edeka Bremmen & Steglitz Berlin
Edeka supermarkets Bremen and Steglitz Berlin, integrating retail and food court experiences with a focus on community engagement. The design features a modern envelope with timber slat details, open mesh elements, continuous signage, and clear sightlines for intuitive navigation. Each counter and food offer has a unique look and feel, encouraging interaction, exploration, and engagement. At Steglitz, the historic local market inspired the design, connecting the store to its cultural context. Thoughtful seating, material choices, and layout create a dynamic, welcoming environment, making Edeka a standout destination for food shopping and in Bremen and Berlin.
Barracuda Casino SE1 London
A refubishment of an existing basement Grosvenor Casino. The Barracuda Casino on Baker Street undergoes a transformative refurbishment, evolving from a standard basement site into a premier destination of opulent charm. The journey begins with an inviting ground-floor meet-and-greet zone that seamlessly connects the vibrant energy of London with the sophisticated sanctuary below. By utilizing a dark, indulgent material palette, the design achieves deep luxury through clever, cost-effective tactile details. Rich textures and engaging finishes create a people-friendly atmosphere, while the exclusive VIP gaming zone features intricate brass detailing inlaid into a stunning timber feature wall, bringing the opulent, atmospheric concept to life.
